Outdoor Meetup Spot for E.Tolle Silent Meditations

Since the goal is a silent medication, why not meetup near the AIDS Memorial Grove and have a lite picnic then we can take a short walk down into the grotto - there is a circular stone seating area for about 25 people. The garden is in ... Read moreGolden Gate park so lot's of transportation options, the garden was built and is maintained by volunteers, this solemn spot offers a fantastic chance for spiritual reflection in a totally natural setting! The garden is at the intersection of Bowling Green Drive and Middle Drive East in GGP phone (415) 750-8340. We could meet there weekly over the summer and may even want to meet there year round. It's a beautiful, peaceful, quiet option that allows for before or after conversational portions for those who desire it. One note - as it's heavily treed, it's at least 10 degrees cooler than the sunny sections of the park so do bring a light jacket.

Adendum to: Roxanne's: "Outdoor Meetup Spot for E.Tolle Silent Meditations"

Regarding Roxanne's post (re: "ideas", Jun 17): I really like the initiative & creativity involved w/ respect to the locale of the venue. I disagree w/ the "goal" documented portion though. The idea HERE is ... Read moreto share & promote Tolle in "whatever" form, so may I recommend select readings from Eckhart Tolle's "Oneness With All Life" http://www.amazon.com/dp/0525950885/?tag=googhydr-20&... . These are inspiritional selections from "A New Earth", catagorized into 10 topics, each selection is a succinct & profound gem, whether it is a sentence or a paragraph. We could have a potluck picnic, pass around my book & each person can pick a topic & a selection & have a 5 (ish) minute group participation focused ONLY on that particular passage.
PERHAPS WE SHOULD NOW BRING THIS TO THE DISCUSSION BOARD whereas there we we may discuss & crosstalk this topic. THANKS Roxanne...

A group in the East Bay- sticking to intended format

I suggest more frequent group meetings. I concur w/ the suggested format. I don't see it necessary to rent a hall or a meeting room if members are open, active and desiring to share this spiritual philosophy. I personally see my ...
