I am a very new member & am delighted to be involved. I'd like to volunteer & assist as needed. I am very familiar w/ both "The Power of Now" & "The New Earth". Additionally, I have 2 Tolle DVD's (1) "The Flowering of the Human Consciousness" & (2) "Finding Your Life's Purpose". I could offer a 13' x 21' living/dining room for the cause (I live in San Leandro- a 10 minute walk from the Downtown San Leandro BART) & thus be a host, however I am NO form of a spiritual teacher (and totally have trouble keeping my mouth [regularly] shut). Someone else would have to be the leader. I could be very versatile for the meeting evening time but not Tues's or Thurs's.

Just to be clear: Organizers of meetings are only volunteer facilitators for group meetings. They are in no way "Teachers" or "Leaders" of the group! :-)

You would be fine as the organizer of a group - you don't need anyone else to be the leader.

Okay then- with a predetermined curriculum (re: official start times of 10-15 minute silence followed by DVD time and ending w/ a 10-15 minute silence) this I can clearly follow. Everyone attending KNOWS the intended format & we will all follow that. So that then- outside of the (time) predetermined format there would be an ability to intermingle or discuss concepts. This then would be understood to all attending.
